Well hi there!
I am Andreea Otilia Rebaltescu-Coca (Cora Phenix). I know, that’s a long name! Think about filling in a form! 🙂
You are here because you are looking for something.
You might not know what it is, but you have this question that could sound like this: Is this all there is? Is this the way my life will be until I die? Is this all that I am capable of? Can I do more? Can I achieve more? Is this what I really want? What do I want? What do I love to do? Where do I want to go? Why am I stuck in traffic, again?! Wait a minute, why am I talking to myself!
I remember “enjoying” my hour commute to work one morning, and some of these questions popped into my mind. For some months now, I was in a frantic search.
Of what?! You might ask. I had no idea! I just knew that something had to be done. I felt unfulfilled! I felt that I am losing myself, the essence of myself. Who am I you say?! Step into my time capsule and let me take you back about 30 years….
Imagine the most beautiful place on earth. Where you are loved! You are protected! You are nurtured! You are shaped! That place is HOME! And that home for me, happens to be in a little village at the bottom of the mountains called Rodna in Romania.
If you haven’t heard of it, and I’m sure the majority didn’t, let me put it more into perspective.
You know Dracula?! Sure, you do 🙂 either from reading Bram Stoker book, or at least hearing about it, or seeing the movie based on the same book with Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves and one of my favorites, Sir Anthony Hopkins.
If none of this ring a bell, you might want to do some research 🙂 in this case, you might have heard about the region of Transylvania in Romania! That’s where that village is and that’s where I am from! Am I a vampire?! Or anyway related to Dracula?! Honestly…. will talk about that some other time 🙂
On May 14th, 1984 at 5am, my little lungs filled with air and I let out a sharp cry. At least that’s what my mom said 🙂 I was the first baby in the family, followed by my brother a year and a half later.
One thing my mom reminds me to this day is how big a pain I was in those early days. I would fall asleep in her or my dad’s or my grandmas’ arms, and as soon as they would put me in my crib, my big brown eyes would spring open and my cry would pierce their ears. All I can say is that I’m grateful none of my three girls were like me, it would have been a rough payback 🙂
Without getting too much in the details of my childhood, I was a pretty ordinary girl, went to school, came home, played outside, obeyed and respected my parents but one thing that stood out was my passion from an early age towards music. So much, that with the help of my music teacher, my parents decided to send me to a specialized school in a big city starting with 6th grade.
From there I went to study at the music high school, followed by the Music Conservatory Gheorghe Dima in Cluj, one of the biggest cultural cities in my country! There I also studied drama at a different university because I wanted more! I always wanted more for me.
I will stop here to let you in a little secret! You might ask yourself about now. How is all this helping me? I have a different life! I have different dreams! Different visions!
You are right! Each one of us does. But what we all have in common is the desire and the hunger to fulfill them! And this my friend is what makes us, you and me, different.
That is the reason you are reading this right now isn’t it?
What I haven’t told you yet, is the awakening part of my past.
I came to United States full of hope in 2006. Freshly graduated from the conservatory, my 21-year-old body and mind was ready to take on the world! Not long after I found out that was a good age to come here, I could order my own drink 🙂
Imagine someone dropping you right now in a country that you know nothing about but what you saw in movies! One thing is for sure, it will not be like in the movies.
I was open to learn and receive from America everything it had to offer! And boy that was a lot!
To sum it all up, I went through an identity change. Doubt, hope, love, deception, physically and emotionally abuse, I learned the hardest thing is not having your family close to you, learning the language, learning the systems this country runs by, the values, the traditions, adapting myself to all and finally after these ups and downs and ins and outs, I can proudly say this country is my second HOME!
How did I do that?! With the determination that everything that comes my way, if it’s good I will embrace it, if it’s bad I will let it hit me, turn me into ashes and rise again!
I had so much faith in myself that during the darkest hours of my existence, when my mom called me crying every day for three months to go back home, even if my heart was in flames saying it, my answer was NO!
Years have passed since those days and I still refuse to give up. Not everything I did was a success. I had my share of failures in relationships, career, personal, I lost myself in a crazy corporate circle of going to work and coming home without a purpose to wake up in the morning.
Then I realized! In a world where everything is turning digital, it’s the next step in our evolution and I need to take advantage of it. And by that, I mean use the technology to serve, to help, to inspire, to add beauty and bring value to the people inhabiting our earth.
Online opens up a whole new set of opportunities. So instead of fighting the feeling and rejecting it, I welcomed it, I accepted it, I joined it.
I put myself out there with my unique set of skills to serve others, to give them a piece of me, and to share with them how all of this is possible. You can truly do what you love most and build a sustainable business out of it.
Warning! if you think this is a get rich quick thing, you are on the wrong website. It takes time, determination, an open mindset, hard work and dedication in order to succeed. You will educate yourself on a daily basis, grow and expand your knowledge.
After all you are doing all of this to improve your lifestyle, and by doing that to improve the life of those around you.
I didn’t do all this by myself! I dropped my Ego and searched for guidance. With the help of my mentors and the people I surrounded myself with, I am unstoppable! I know its hard to believe that are humans out there ready to give you a helping hand but we do exist.
Here are 5 rules I learned from a very powerful man. Arnold Schwarzenegger. His life journey started with a dream.
1. Have a vision
2. Think Big
3. Ignore the naysayers
4. Work you’re a.. off
5. Give back and change the word!
These 5 things are the basics to every successful person out there. With the power of the internet and online marketing, building the life you want for yourself and your family takes a whole new meaning.
This is my way of giving back!
My journey keeps unfolding. I have not reached my destination yet, and honestly, I don’t want to. The everyday challenges and obstacles push me to become better than I was yesterday and with a clear vision, I project myself today to a better me tomorrow!
I’m taking full responsibility for every moment, good or bad.
I am a mother of 3 girls, a wife to a supportive husband but most of all I am a woman with a lot to give! I am here to serve you, to share with you my story and to tell you that it’s never too late to start living the life you want and loving every second of it!
